Well Known

Someone is searching for your identity. Your identity is at risk! Every single day messages such as these pop up on my computer screen. At first, it was very alarming. After doing a little investigating, however, I discovered these are merely AD’s blasted out to everyone to entice us in the direction of signing up with a company for identity protection. Now, I am not saying this is a good or bad thing but for sure, with technology as it is today, we all “live in glass houses!”

Well guess what? Someone knew you even before the word, technology was known! He knew everything there is to know about you before the womb and since before the day you were born. He knows you so well that He knows your thoughts and your heart. A word of encouragement; your identity is safe and secure in the Hands of This One…GOD!

The prophet Jeremiah tells us that not only does God know you but He also has a “plan” and purpose for your life. The very same Almighty God, Who placed every star and planet in the heavens said, “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” [Jeremiah 29:11] Why would The Creator care so much? The answer is even more astonishing and amazing. “’Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the LORD….’” [Jeremiah 29:12-14]

In any relationship it requires at least two parties to be in communication with one another. Our God is always ready to enter into a relationship with the one who seeks Him. With God, our relationship is intimate and heart-focused. Aren’t you simply blown away that This God, Almighty and Omniscient God, has a “plan” that involves you? Some people believe God is too BIG and too important to be concerned about the nitty-gritty of life. Sweet friend, let me assure you; if God didn’t care, He wouldn’t tell you that He does! Besides, “God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” [Numbers 23:19]

The next time you see the AD pop up on your computer screen, saying someone is searching your identity, just think to yourself, “you better believe He is and His Name is JESUS!”

Father God, how amazing that You not only know me but that You love me! Help me never to doubt this truth. In the Name of Your Son, Jesus…AMEN

To The One Who was with God In the beginning…Jesus.
